Jon Baltimore Music Co. rents all types of woodwind and brass instruments on daily, weekly and monthly terms for student, professional and industry use.
We proudly rent the same high-quality new and vintage instruments that we sell in our shop. In fact, we actively limit the number of low-end imports in our instrument inventory, so that we can confidently cover the instruments we rent and sell with a robust service guarantee.
In general, higher-end instruments (i.e. Buffet R-13, Selmer Mark VI, Bach Stradivarius, etc.) are only rented out for professional, short-term use at a daily rate. We offer longer-term rental options for all other instruments in our inventory. For Monthly Rentals: ONLY the first month’s rental fee is applied to purchase of the instrument.
Once a rental is authorized and the rental fee is charged, there is no refund for late pick-ups or early returns.
Rental cancellations are subject to a $35.00 + tax cancellation fee.

Collateral Terms
In order to rent an instrument from Jon Baltimore Music, you will need to provide valid state identification (driver license or non-driver ID) and a valid credit card (Visa/MC/AmEx/Discover). Credit Cards are required to process an authorization (as collateral) equal in amount to the replacement value of the rented instrument(s). Collateral authorizations are released immediately upon the safe return of the rented instrument(s).
